Committees

As with any successful organization, committees are the backbone of the MCCA.

Listed below are the committee descriptions along with current committee members. Anyone interested in serving on a committee, please contact your MCCA president or the committee chair.

Executive Board

The Executive Board’s goals are to provide productive leadership for MCCA and to fulfill its obligation to the members by moving the association in the best direction.  The affairs of the Association shall be managed by the Executive Board. The Executive Board is comprised of the listed elected officials below, along with the past president.

Legislative Committee

The Legislative Committee role is to maintain a productive relationship with the legislative, executive and judicial branches of the Missouri state government. The Board’s goals are to encourage and support legislation for the benefit of Missouri residents and Missouri collectors.

DOR/DMV Committee

The DOR/DMV Committee role is to maintain a working relationship with the State Department of Motor Vehicles regarding issues that involve the Missouri Collectors and vehicle registration.

Auditing Committee

The duty of the Auditing Committee is to examine the MCCA financial records and to report to the general membership annually at the April conference.

Nominating Committee

 The Nominating Committee is responsible for preparing a slate of proposed candidates to fill the positions of President, President-Elect, 2nd Vice President, 3rd Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Legislative Chair, two NACCTFO Directors, and CERF Candidate, as needed for the Association. Nominees shall be submitted to the MCCA general membership during the annual conference in April.

Conference Committee

The Conference Committee is responsible for all aspects of the preparation and the execution of plans to provide the association with a successful April training conference.

Conference Education Committee

The duty of the Conference Education Committee is to provide an agenda of informative and educational presentations or training programs to the general membership annually at the April conference.

Conference Door Prize Committee

The duty of the Conference Door Prize Committee is to collect and distribute door prizes for the annual training conference.

Conference Trade Expo Committee

The duty of the Conference Trade Expo Committee is to identify and invite entities that do business with collectors or other county offices to attend the annual MCCA training conference as an exhibitor or sponsor.
